Laser Hair Removal
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) + E-Light + Radio Frequency
How does it work?
Pulsed light and radio frequency heat up the hair, the heat travels through the shaft and down to the follicle damaging it, which inhibits it from producing new hair.
IPL stands for intense pulsed light. It is a form of light therapy, used for various dermatological procedures including hair removal. IPL treats using a full spectrum of light with different scattered wave lengths.
E-light, combines IPL and Radio Frequency. The big advantage of this combination is it reaches deeper down and does not affect melanin in the skin, so all skin types can be treated, which IPL alone cannot. This can also target light grey and red hair. Also by using this latest technology together, it has the bonus of rejuvenating the skin at the same time leaving it softer than normal.

Why IPL + E-Light + Radio Frequency?
-
The E-Light system is the only system that can rejuvenate the skin and get rid of even minimally pigmented hair colours that other light solutions and lasers miss.
-
Is a safer procedure due to the combination of IPL and Radio Frequency, significantly less melanin dependent light energy is required than in conventional IPLs, resulting in practically no side effects and in higher comfort of the patients during the treatment.
-
The E-Light technology also aids in rejuvenating and tightening the skin of the treated areas.
Recommended treatment
Hair grows in a cycle of 3 phases. Anagen phase is the growth phase of the hair. The catagen phase is a brief portion of the hair growth cycle in which the growth stops. The telogen phase is the dormant phase of the hair. Hair can only be treated successfully during the anagen phase. Hairs are not all in the same growth phase at the same time. This is why several treatments may be needed.
An average of 6 to 10 sessions is needed for hair removal treatment in order to treat the whole area. 4 to 10 weeks is the gap between sessions depending on the new growth cycle and the body area.
Recommended treatments depend on individual goals. Our experienced therapists will discuss with you your goals to help you decide on the best plan for you.
